DELIVERY
Please be confident that we watch your assets, because we know how important they are to you. For Watches, Jewelry, Diamonds & Fine Art. We offer a number of options for getting your assets to us.
FedEx: Use a free & insured FedEx label to send your assets to us taking advantage of FedEx SameDay and FedEx Overnight Declared Value Advantage service which is tailored for shipping high-value high-value luxury items.
Collection: Depending on the value of your assets, we can send a courier to pick it up and deliver it to us with the highest level of attention and security. For art, we would send a professional art handler to pick them up and deliver them to us with the highest level of attention and security. Of course, we’ll arrange this at a time and place convenient for you.
Bring your assets to us: Your time is as valuable as your assets. So make an appointment and one of our expert appraisers along with your account manager, will be ready to meet & greet and appraise your watch as soon as you show up.
Home appraisal: If you have a high-value collection of assets or you are looking to use multiple assets to secure your loan, one of our expert appraisers can come to you to appraise your assets on location.
Luxury or Classic Cars: We have a feeling you don’t want a tow truck showing up in front of your house. So we’ll send an unmarked transporter to pick up your luxury or classic car at any location you choose and deliver it safely to one of our top-tier storage facilities. If you like to get behind the wheel, we’ll give you the address of our storage spot and we’ll meet you there.
SECURITY
With us you have the confidence of end-to-end insurance. That means your assets are protected from the moment they leave your hands, until you have them safely and securely returned to you, once your loan is repaid.
The minimum insurance is the fair market value of your assets; never less, often more. This is provided by both our courier and storage partners, as well as by our own insurance, which is provided by underwriters who are part of Lloyds of London.
In Transit
If you send your luxury watch to us using our free FedEx label, your assets are insured up to the value of $100,000 for the Same Day service, and up to $50,000 for the Overnight service.
For a special collection of your assets by our employee or by a professional art handler, you are insured up to $500,000.
If one of our appraisers takes your asset collection with them to our valuation center after a home appraisal, you are insured up to $500,000.
In special cases, we will make special arrangements to get your luxury watch to us. We will always ensure your items are fully covered.
With Us
When your important assets arrive to our valuation center, they are handled under CCTV, Barcoded with a unique ID code and always photographed.
While your assets are with us for the appraisal, as well as for the duration of your loan, they are stored in our highly secure vaults or with one of our partners which include Citibank and Malca-Amit. In all locations, your watches are fully insured up to their fair market value.
Your fine art and antiques will be stored in our highly secure vaults or with our specialist partners such as Day & Meyer, a firm who is nothing less than America’s pre-eminent storage facility. They serve the needs of just about every auction gallery, dealer, and high-end collector in their 15 story fireproof warehouse on Manhattan’s Upper East Side. It doesn’t look like a storage facility on the Interstate, either. Other partners we work with include CFASS, Cadogan Tate, The Fortress and Peak Fine Art, to name but a few.
For luxury cars and classic cars, our storage partners include Exotic Classics, Top Store and Sphere Motorsports. When your car arrives to the storage location, it is photographed and checks are made in order to determine its condition and value. Should you choose to proceed with the loan, your luxury car will remain in storage for the duration of the loan where it will be fully insured up to its fair market value.
ULTIMATE CARE
When your items are with us, they are subject to both protection and specialist care. And when you repay your loan in full, we guarantee that we will safely return in either the same or an even better condition than before.
We provide a Condition Report for all assets. This includes a comprehensive description which documents everything from the dimensions to the quality and overall condition of your item, along with a high resolution photograph. This is a useful document to have should you ever wish to sell or consign your item to auction, or wish to have it insured.
Jewelry, Diamonds, Gold and Watches
If your item doesn’t already have a box or pouch, we will give you one to keep your jewelry safe.
We will get your item cleaned and polished (unless you request us not to of course), and for jewelry above a certain value we will give you a special jewelry cleaning kit, so you can keep your jewelry clean and shiny yourself.
For luxury watches we can also arrange full servicing of your watch at the appropriate watch house as an optional extra service.
When it comes to diamonds, we know how important it is to have them graded accurately. If your diamonds are not certificated, we can arrange for an official GIA certificate (by the Gemological Institute of America). This certificate will not only aid with appraisals, but also strongly enhance the item’s sale-a-bility should you ever wish to sell it through auction.
Cars
Your luxury car or classic car will be stored in a dehumidified, temperature-controlled environment, and will get a premium service of standard car wash, trickle chargers every other week, bi-weekly rotation, monthly start-up and a monthly drive. In addition to this, the battery and fluid levels will be checked and a walk-around inspection will be carried out before we return the car to you.
Depending on the value of your luxury car or classic car, our services also include regulating tire pressure, 60-day battery condition check and charge, as well as full service valet and car detailing which includes inside and outside wash and polish, and vacuuming to showroom standard.
Fine Art & Antiques
Before placing your fine art and antiques in storage for the duration of the loan, your items will be initially wrapped in the medium appropriate tissue (acetate/acid free), then packed within a custom-made crate for maximum protection. Exceptional pieces of fine art will be crated in a custom-built wooden case.
Where needed or as needed, your fine Art and Antiques will be stored in a temperature-controlled environment.
